Kay Walkowiak was born in 1980 in Salzburg, and now lives and works in Vienna. He has studied at the Academy of Fine Arts (2003-2008) as well as at the University of Applied Arts with Erwin Wurm (2003-2010) in Vienna. Walkowiak has participated in various group exhibitions since 2004, most recently at the Salzburger Kunstverein (2016). Solo exhibitions include the MAK – Austrian Museum of Applied Arts, The Austrian Cultural Forum in New Delhi, and the node Gallery in Tokyo.
